Photo Printing

Question Photo printing?
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a printing company. I took a partially nude digital photo of my wife and would like to have it printed as my printer is an old piece of crap. Any ideas on a good printing serivce that does partial nudes? Thanks for any advice.

Best Answer You are going to be spending some money getting an image like that printed. And if it turnes out as well as you hope it will you will be wanted to take more of these "art pics:. Rather than spending the money on having the image printed why not invest in a printer of your own. The prices have come down dramatically over the last number of years. In fact now the greater consideratiion is in the replacement of the ink. This is an ideal opportunity to get yourself a photo printer...I am sure that you and your wife are on the same page right now.

Question Photo Printing?
I want to print good quality photos on achival paper and laminate them on a hot press. The size of the photos would be A3+. What would be the best printer to use? Would it have to be a pigment ink or would inkjet printing be OK? Is there anywhere I could get hold of a hot press type laminator at a good price?

Best Answer My experience has been a pigment ink is more archival. Just curious as to why you want to laminate? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the archival paper?

Question photo printing?
just had a go at printing my photos off digital camera for first time, have a cannon printer, on A4 they did alright though not sure if i had proper setting on for type of paper, it said plain paper so went with that. got a bit confused with changing settings so any help appreciated, also have some small 6x4 photo paper but not sure if there ment for my printer or the proper photo printer as that is smaller in size. a novice as you can tell but willing to learn, another problem ive had is when my daughter tried to print her cv it missed top of words off and double printed on certain lines? so again if any one can guide me through what i need to do , thanks in advance.

Best Answer the answer is... TRIAL AND ERROR. there's no easy way to print on paper smaller than 8.5x11. NOTE that it's CHEAPER, CLEARER and MORE DURABLE to just have it printed by a digital photo developer. printer ink fades when exposed to sunlight

Question What photo printing service makes the highest quality prints?
I've been using Shutterfly. They are good and fast. I'm just wondering if there's a better, more accurate photo printing service for the same price range. I saw some good testimonials for Mpix. I see very mixed reviews for York Photo. They either rock or suck, with no middle ground.

Best Answer If you purchased any HP equipment lately, most likely you should have gotten something in there that gives you roughly 25 free prints from snap fish. You can give them a try and find out if you like snap fish.
