Question How can I clean my canvas pictures?
I have 2 16x20 canvas pictures, my child is set in an all white backround. They look to have water marks on them but I tried cleaning with a damp soapy cloth and that didn't clean them. I actually think its probably a dark cola that has made these water mark type things on them.

Best Answer take the picture to a professional or a local art gallery. they will either clean it for you or let you know how to clean it with out destroying the picture. (i have no idea of the cost)

Question Anybody know what canvas pictures with quotes on them are called?
i'm looking for like girly ones for my dorm room. their like hand panted on square canvas and they have quotes. anybody know how or where i can find some cute ones?

Question Putting a picture on canvas?
I want to put a picture on a canvas for my mums birthday, a large canvas about 30"x20". Does anyone know if the canvas will look better quality if i had a picture professionaly taken or will it look the same quality with a digital camera? Thankyou

Question I would like to photoprint my pictures on canvas?
What equipment is required and what are the proceedures to print colour photographs on canvas. Canvas sizes 400mm X 500mm approx.

Best Answer There are quite a few problems but all can be overcome with cash. If you want to do a one off then use one of the many companies around. I decided I wanted to do quite a few so I invested in an HP 130nr, wide format printer. Having got the printer, you then encounter other issues. Is there a canvas available that has been tested with that particular printer? I couldn't find a canvas for my printer so I went for a canvas that had been OK'd for another HP printer. I initially tried ordinary canvas by taking it off the frame. The inks, or should I say pigments, smudged all over the place. You have to be careful with the substrates of the canvas you select. The next problem, if you have managed to successfully print. is light fastness. If you haven't used a good quality UV proof pigment then the pic will fade. Then, if you got that covered, I would recommend that a giclee varnish is applied. For that first print, it will cost over £1500.00 (if you are lucky). Like I said, it might be worth while contracting out. Good luck The whole routine, assuming you have the kit. 1, A good picture with bucket loads of mega pixels. 2, Photoshop or similar for resizing, etc. 3, Find ing a suitable canvas and printing 4, Manufacturing a stretcher to put the canvas on. 5, Getting a good, taught canvas. 6, Apply giclee varnish.
