Print Photos On Canvas

Question How to print photos onto canvas ?
Does anyone know how to go about printing my photos onto canvas myself, from home ? Is there a specific type of photo printing paper ? I tested out "Transfer Paper" and ironed onto some paper - just to see how it worked ? Not great results !! I'm wanting to try and sell my photos on canvas so being able to do it myself would be much easier, and much cheaper ? And is there a specific type of canvas for this ? Would really appreciate some advice. Thanks all !

Best Answer I have found that the photos I print on my own Epson photo printer are fine - but don't seem to be physically as strong as the ones I order on line. The ink seems to rub off easier. I have a photo done by a friend at home and printed on canvas paper and the color is rubbing off just from dusting the frame. You might want to check into the ones that are done professionally - they seem to have a plastic coating to protect them. Question Print and frame photos on canvas in St Louis?
I want to print photos, b/w and color onto at least 20x30 canvas. I ike the the wrap around type, where the photo stretches over the edge of the frame. I found a few options online with the cheapest being $88 shipped. So far that looks like a decent price but I was hoping to find something in the $40 range because I want about a dozen of these. Something in STL would be awesome but I wouldn't mind an online recommendation too.

Best Answer Not sure if it is around, but there was a place called "Allied" something or other. It was on the parkway, East of Kingshighway and West of Grand. ... on the north side of the street. Decent folks, and I hope they are still in business. That's the only place I can think of, but I'm rather certain that they did such things.

Question Where to go to print photos on canvas?
Hello. I was looking for places where I can take a digital photo that I have and blow it up into a canvas (20 x 30 or bigger) but with specific designs (like pop art or oil painting). I know there are sites that do this, but I need it by Sunday! It's my anniversary and I've procrastinated haha. So are there any stores that I can physically go to that do this? Thanks in advance.

Best Answer M Pix is good, but canvas is not their speciality, and their size choices are limited. Simply Canvas does beautiful work. They can do the 2 inch frame gallery wraps, or the thinner stretcher frames mounted into a "floating frame". Gorgeous work. However, they cater to the professional photograher, so unless you can supply your website address or tax id number, you may not be able to create an accout with them.
