Printing Photos On Canvas

Question Printing photos on canvas and photo paper?
I was wondering--for those of you who do a lot of photo editing, what company do you order your prints from. I am into doing some artistic editing, and would like quality for a great price...where do I find this? What I am looking for is an online company to order prints (some perhaps stretched on canvas). Any ideas?

Question Printing photos on canvas with costco?
Hi there, I'm a professional photographer looking at printing gallery wrapped canvas for my customers and the options are endless. I'm looking for excellent quality and value I can pass along. I'm wondering who have you printed through? Did you like them? Also has anyone had any experience printing stretched canvas through Costco? Their prices seem to be about 1/2 of what the major professional printers charge. Thank you for your input!

Best Answer There is little point in paying good money to get prints made at Costco, Walmart, or any similar cheap low quality place. The quality of prints you get is simply not acceptable by any professional standards. Like most things in life, you only get what you pay for. P.S. A "Pro" photographer would never have prints made at such places. It would be very hard to find a faster way to destroy a good reputation.

Question In Las Vegas and need suggestion for printing photos on canvas (cheaply) so I can start selling (also matting)
I have so much artwork (photography) but have never had the courage to sell it already printed due to the expense. I would like to do my first show at my church for charity fundraiser and need supplies--where does everyone go? I need to print, matte and frame. Some of the prints would look great on canvas. I imagine that will cost a fortune. Does anyone have any contacts or referrals for the Las Vegas Area?

Question How to print photos onto canvas ?
Does anyone know how to go about printing my photos onto canvas myself, from home ? Is there a specific type of photo printing paper ? I tested out "Transfer Paper" and ironed onto some paper - just to see how it worked ? Not great results !! I'm wanting to try and sell my photos on canvas so being able to do it myself would be much easier, and much cheaper ? And is there a specific type of canvas for this ? Would really appreciate some advice. Thanks all !

Best Answer I have found that the photos I print on my own Epson photo printer are fine - but don't seem to be physically as strong as the ones I order on line. The ink seems to rub off easier. I have a photo done by a friend at home and printed on canvas paper and the color is rubbing off just from dusting the frame. You might want to check into the ones that are done professionally - they seem to have a plastic coating to protect them.
